- Base notes: cedar, oakmoss, leather, sandalwood, castoreum, vetiver, patchouli, amber, musk
Bottles:
Empreinte was housed in tall, clear glass cylindrical bottles, topped by an oversized gilded ball screw cap. Towards the bottom of the bottle was a large gilded logo. The parfum bottles were given an all over gilt finish.Empreinte was available in the following products:

Fate of the Fragrance:
Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1985. I believe it may have been reformulated and relaunched in 1995, then discontinued again.
It has been reformulated and relaunched in 2012. The bottles are copies of the 1970s originals and are available in 1 oz, 1.7 oz and 3.4 oz Eau de Parfum. However, according to many online reviews, the fragrance not as nice as the original and the scent is very fleeting and stays close to the skin.
